Why is everyone saying "Bump!" in their forms?

Discussion in 'Empire Help & Support' started by TTNO1, Apr 17, 2019.

  1. I've noticed when scrolling through forms people often say "Bump!" as a reply to the form, does anyone know why? Thanks for the help.

  2. When somebody replies to a post with "bump," they are trying to boost it to the top of the forum list so that more people can see it. :)

  5. It's just a way to keep a thread in the "Most Recent" section of forums. Commonly it's used in auctions and event/game threads.

Word of caution, there are rules regarding bumping for your threads. 12 hour bumping for Reverse auction/Auction threads and 3 hours for any other threads after last poster!

Hope you enjoy the ride here on EMC!
