If you mean having to wait for adds to join a game, paying 20 dollars to get most of the features for a month, then yes, yes it is "awesome."
You know that Tekkit is minecraft but modded right? Same thing with FTB. If you can't understand that, why are you playing minecraft? This thread is supposed to be what other games other than modded minecraft are similar to minecraft. Like Roblox or Terria (think it's spelt like that ). Also if you falsely report someone you can be temp banned for two days.
Voltz is a modpack -.- We already had this discussion with Tekkit. I'd say Infiniminer, since Minecraft uses its engine and is essentially a rip-off of that But Terraria comes close too. I used to play Roblox all the time, then I found Minecraft and realised how crap Roblox was. Roblox ain't nothing like MC. At all. Spam and false reporting? I wouldn't be surprised if you got a temp-ban from the forums. Tekkit isn't a game, either. It's Minecraft loaded with a crapload of industrial and environment-changing mods.
