  1. You're lucky Impulsive_Egg. There was a surprise lightning storm last night, which woke me up. I decided to take advantage of the opportunity and listen to the storm on my AM radio. :)

    (Sadly, this means that I got 1 less hour of sleep.)

  3. The more lightning there is, the more crackling you hear, 607. :)

    The response is immediate, as soon as you see the lightning, the radio picks it up. (The thunder, if the lightning was close enough, would be seconds later.)

    Reminds me of how you hear text messages come in when you're wearing headphones or using speakers with a long cable. ;)
