The problems of Krysyy, Aikar and how EMC is run.

Personal attacks as a whole is far more serious than debate. I do not like Krysyy. This does not mean I will attack her personally. I can accuse her of incompetence. But accusing someone of malicious intent is far more serious.
I will go there when I need to.

You happen to be the most recent aggressive post, sorry, it was coincidence that you were in the line of fire for examples \/)/ My points still stand though, you shouldn’t be airing personal grievances in a public forum on which the targets can’t properly defend themselves. Otherwise you’re just taking advantage of the situation to put someone down.

I’m not sure what you don’t like about that term, I was struggling to find words I hadn’t already used to describe the group of people I was talking about...

I think we've lost the point here guys. My point in saying all this to the thread is that WE THE PEOPLE want change up top. I've recently been made aware of something super horrific that I wish wasn't true. However I feel as though to get this back on track I should probably mention it. Krysyy AND Aikar both have given up on EMC a long time ago. Aikar is hardly coding anymore instead he is spending what time he *should* be spending on EMC is spent elsewhere! Krysyy as well is not doing much on EMC not because of sleep and work rather in her spare time from what I've heard is spent out at bar.

(NOTE --- NOTHING WRONG WITH EITHER OF THESE THINGS WHEN YOU ARE DOING IN PROPER SPARE TIME AND DON'T HAVE HIGHER PRIORITIES SUCH AS RUNNING A MINECRAFT SERVER)

I've got more where this came from Krysyy / Aikar. You want to blame human nature on stuff it's also human nature to speak! It is our right as humans to let the world know what is wrong with it!

I would also just like to point out that Krysyy has censored opinions from moderators I would love to hear more on why this is. Seeing as SS are able to post their thoughts. I'm curious if this is due to moderators being easier to demote / step down. I mean hey more power to you being able to keep "Supporters" silenced

This thread is turning into a god damn mess. For those of you who do not remember, a very similar situation happened in late 2017 with Finch's thread. People began attacking each other until the thread was closed by page 12... (Waiting that long was a major mistake in my opinion) I've seen this happen almost 2 years ago, and it ended in chaos, it really did. Let's not repeat that hear, yeah?

State the issue(s) you have, the facts to back it up, then make your case. The opposing side, have a good argument ready to refute it those initial claims. Those are the basic fundamentals of argumentation.

I'm not up-to-date on the "latest", but I'm not here for the personal attacks, I'm here for my own core issues I had with EMC. Mine were addressed in pages 2-6: Lack of transparency, poor management, and lack of updates. I got the information I needed from the responses by the staff and now I am moving on. For those of you who have not gotten the information you needed/wanted, I hope you get it soon.

I am un-watching this thread because it has served it's purpose for me and unless someone else tells me otherwise, I will stay out of this... Good luck, and I hope this does not become a repeat late 2017...

Yeah and I think that’s fine, if you want to name specific things that you think she did wrong and/or incompetently and then ask for solutions I think that’s totally acceptable. Some of the other things said, like calling her pathetic, toxic, telling her to grow up etc. are completely unwarranted in a thread trying to make progress until certain people showed up.
Like geez, imagine it was your mom or sister or gf or crush behind the screen reading those things, that’s brutal. And can’t even engage you back.

So, instead of running the mileage up on your caps lock, as well as your shift+1, your entire concerns can be summarized into “I am concerned that aikar and Krysyy don’t have enough time to put into the server. What can you do to resolve this issue/concern?” And then look at the main page and see Krysyy has already put out a new search for more staff members so steps are already being taken.
Also, your in depth questioning throughout this thread of what Krysyy does with her time has been getting a little creepy ngl, especially when you started counting hours.

If you can understand the emotional situation on Krysyy's side surely you can understand the emotions on the other side.

I wish people could just "haha" react these posts and move on with their lives.

Yes, I can, and it’s completely different. Just like how I have no issue telling you to grow up, but have issue with people saying the same to her. It’s a matter of who here has the freedom to defend themself and post exactly what they mean to say vs. who cannot. I’m fairly certain I know what “emotions” you’re talking about, and I think that Krysyy has made posts and apologies that cover them sufficiently and at this point you’re still just trying to use it as leverage against her.

Anyway it’s 3 AM now, way beyond how late I should be up the night before an interview, so I’m calling it a night. Peace.

It's not the new staff is the problem, it's the old ones I'm gonna assume you haven't chatted with that many people about the issue and seen it from "our" perspective seeing as you're very tunnel visioned on Krysyy's side. When you know that the people in charge are not doing stuff they *should* be doing. I can see this from both sides. Krysyy wants to maintain her power (for whatever reason even though she seemingly is having troubles at doing so consistently) She also is trying her best to solve a situation that has gotten way out of hand. However there is a time and place for everything and change is inevitable and as you can tell quite a few people want the change now. I'm just sad to hear that change is going to be hard to do. I don't even say lets "fire" Krysyy can we at least get a second Community Manager so our Events are well maintained and Vouchers redeemed within 48 hours along with more dev finding abilities.
