  1. This whole "dividing up the land using our workers, and letting people build on some areas" is sounding a bit undemocratic already :L

  2. I think that is partially one of the goals, except more "ownership and control, in the wild" driven unlike the Delta's "I want to be recognized and official" PM with ICC campaign. :p

People would just dig under, or create a walkway from blocking the lava :p

Awesome. As others - even Lotad - have stated, this project doesn't want to get too far ahead of its self too quickly and be too over-ambitious which is what it looks like, currently. "Rome wasn't build in a day" - neither was the LLO. In my opinion, you need to start off small (or at least not as ambitious) like Lotad has said and THEN build, expand, develop, ect. Your systems need to work, benefit everyone to be successful and fun, which eventually means that people will stay with you. After all, this is a game that people play to have fun with. :)

    Best of luck

  3. Well dividing up land is undemicratic but if your starting up a new city it might be good to give away extremely cheap or free land simply for the purpose of inviting new people. However, they may want to concider only giving away residential zones and selling industrial and commercial zones.
  4. It's not socialist.

Infrastructure won't be too much of a problem in the beginning.
As for the banks, they won't be working with rupees, but the native currency, the Neore, based on the written book.
  5. Ah, but even as infrastructure won't be as important in the beginning people will begin to build over where you need roads, railroads, or canals making it much harder to build these things later.

  6. We are building the infrastructure first 72, I hate to be so bossy and rude, but that is final!
  7. We land to give away our land, as long as you keep to the district them/zone. We will have a part of town for everyone, and being around people that have the same building style as you will improve you own.
  8. if you are sharing resources for the good of the "state" its socialism resources could include building roads and byways or just lending wood for starting houses. i dont get why people use socialism as a dirty word its such a plebian thing to do

  9. We are attaining resources for the good of the state, we are not mandating it at a legal level.
  10. well i only want to be apart of it if it is a socialist state so you just turned me off from attending :p
  11. Think of it as "optionally socialistic" :D
  12. hmmmm maybe ill jump in when its more established in that case post some pictures on your progress now and again :D
  13. you know that you are building extremly close to one of the already set up wild citys on smp9 right .....

infact you are about 200 blocks east of it
  14. This is the thread where everyone speaks in the smartest way they can to fit in :p

  15. We can't be that close :p
  16. I think we are less than 500 blocks away but we will not build over in that area possibly at all and if we do it will not be with and intention to interfere with their outpost/city.
  17. Awesome. How can I help?
  18. I'll add you in later, we'll call on you for your assistance if needed and you can assist in drafting the constitution and shaping the government :)

  19. Also, will I have to move residence to be part of this? I currently reside in smp5.
  20. Not at all, you can actually incorporate your residence into Neorepublican territory once the constitution has been enacted.
