Wanting to get to the world border expecting to be a huge achievement about an hour into flying into the nether i reach 200k blocks. being 75k from were the original portal was created. here is what i found at just 200k blocks. This being at only 1.5 million blocks out. Kind of sad considering you only need to travel 1.85k blocks in the nether.
