just visited the outpost yesterday and up until this point have been exploring and starting the repair of a griefed building although I haven't seen many people out here it has been fun discovering what once was. I really wish I would've gotten into this kind of thing when I first joined and hope at some point some players would start coming out here and continuing this great community with me and the few others that still visit here often.
Welcome, AsternFlyer. ;D It's been over two long years since my last PC crashed (motherboard caps blown), but I have returned at long last to the LLO! This time, I took a different route than the overland ones I've used before, which took FOR-EV-ER and I'd often die at least once, losing all my stuff. This time I just hopped on a boat as soon as I could outside the wild spawn and sailed the entire way here! No monsters. No holes to fall in. Just a pleasant 1.5 MC day journey over calm seas, passing under the giant wall and several bridges before landing on the sunny sandy shores of South Central LLO. A short walk later, and my two towers load into view, and once again, I am home. Hope to see members old and new milling around from time to time. I'll be there every now and then (when I'm not working, that is) to continue where I left off so long ago. Peace to all! It's good to be back! ;D

Hi Philo, glad to see you back. I've used the water route myself, nice peaceful journey but prefer my subway ride. I've been piddling around a couple other SMP's lately, maybe I'll wander back out to LLO and say "Howdy".
Nah, LLO's still around. Activity's definitely dropped since you were last around, but it's still alive!

Now I just have an imagine in my head of a player walking all the way out to the LLO, typing 'howdy' in the chat, and immediately turning back around and leaving. idk my 4AM brain thinks that's absolutely hilarious and good enough to share
Incidentally, "howdy" is how I usually greet people who show up to the LLO. I don't leave very often though.
I got all them "Activity Rewards" I suppose im "Empire Elder" now, 5 years in the forums whew. To be honest i dont even remember route in it
It's grown a ton and is pretty visible from the live map now. I can head on to help you out if you need it too!
Not very far. Only 1,000 blocks but it's faster to go via the nether route tbh (msg'ed route via pm )
