For a complete list of all farms on EMC, please see the Shop/Mall Directory list at https://empireminecraft.com/threads/shop-mall-directory.82580/ SMP3 Public Farms: --- Please note that not all farms are always running due to Minecraft update issues and maintenance, and new farms are always being added. --- Directions: Go to /Wild East, enter the spawn's nether portal, and take the "East Track Station" rail (the one with the mob heads). Switch to the rail that says 'Farms' (on your left) and take that rail out. Once there. you'll find entrances to the following farms: Blaze Farm *EyeCyeBall* Far West end of the hallway; yellow portal. Take the Blaze Farm rail line. Wool Farms *LilyLil, ZBid, EyeCyeBall, bryanm61* Far West end of the hallway; orange wool portal. Take the rail line up. There are 16 farms - one for each color of sheep - where you can shear as much wool as you like. Each portal is marked by its color of wool. Automatic/AFK Wool Farm *bryanm61, phoenixfire546, Storm_Ily* If you prefer not to shear, there is an AFK Wool Farm that fills chests automatically; all colors of wool. From the end of the rail line, walk north 25 blocks then turn right. You will see a large portal marked with white wool. Hop through the portal and AFK! Ghast Floor *EyeCyeBall* Take the rail to the wool farms (see above). From the end of the rail line, walk north 25 blocks then turn right. You will see Ghast heads and signs to the Ghast Farm. CAUTION: You may be attacked by mobs on the floor, so wear armor and be careful! Pigman Gold Farm *EyeCyeBall* Far West end of the hallway; portal marked with Gold Blocks. Enter the portal, proceed to the ladders, climb up, and start whacking pigmen. If you prefer to AFK, push the button and the pigmen will die on the fall. There are two sides, so two players may use the farm at the same time. Drops collect in the chests at floor level; you may smelt swords for extra gold, keep or dispose of the rotten flesh, or trade it with the cleric villager in exchange for emeralds. Also good for XP and gear repair. String Farm #1 *EyeCyeBall* In the same area as the Gold Farm, there is a String Farm (triple spider spawner) for manual of AFK collection of string and spider eyes. It's the polished granite structure in the northwest corner. Generic Mob Farm *EyeCyeBall* Portal marked with Stone Slabs. General Mob Drops, including String, Bones, Gunpowder, and Arrows, with occasional miscellaneous drop from witches. AFK only; climb the ladder to AFK in the room above - it's safe. Guardian and Squid Farm *EyeCyeBall, bryanm61* Prismarine Portal. Short climb up the ladder to AFK for Prismarine Shards, Crystals, Ink Sacs, and Fish. Drops are sorted and collected in chests on the floor. Watch our for slimes wandering around on the floor! Iron Farm *EyeCyeBall* Iron Block Portal. AFK for Iron and Poppies. Creeper Farm Re-opened as of 11/4/21! *bryanm61, phoenixfire546, Storm_ily, Snoozert, many other helpful players* Lime Green Concrete Portal towards East End of Hallway AFK and Manual Kill modes; 1 1/3 DC's of gunpowder per hour with Looting III; also good for XP and gear repair. Basalt Generator *gX4ZDe730afmMVxq* Stone Portal at East End of Hallway Chop all the basalt you can use; complete with Haste Beacon. We recommend using an Efficiency V pick for best results. The String Quartet - String Farm #2 *EyeCyeBall, bryanm61* EMC's only public quadruple Spider Spawner. Far East end of hallway; go through the polished granite entrance, take the short rail to the end. Proceed through the portal marked with spruce logs, with the sign reading "Witch Hut/Swamp". Walk across the floor to the spider spawning area; AFK and manual kill modes. (And yes, there's a witch hut, but it's not farmable yet.) Glow Ink Sac Farm *Fred_TWK, GrumpyRedPanda7* Far East end of hallway; go through the polished granite entrance and take the short rail to the end. Proceed through the portal marked with Dark Prismarine. Produces more than 36 stacks (2/3rd's of a DC) per hour of Glow Ink Sacs
After a year I seem to have been able to make the Glow Ink Sac Farm work again (lotsa digging and lighting of caves involved). I apologize for the very long wait. If anyone uses it, please let me know if you feel that it works properly or not.
