Sometimes, I write lyrics. I don't know why. I can't sing and I don't really know how to make instrumentals so there's not really a reason to make them; and they're really awful, but I like doing it. Sometimes it's a great release. I thought I'd share some of the less personal ones here. Feel free to constructively destroy them. Ooh.. that's really good... sometimes I write snippets, never complete... when my poem is posted after the contest, I wonder if anyone'll find it.... and see if they can make it to a song ?
That's actually what I was listening to while writing it, somehow ended up with the idea that it's probably a jazzy lo-fi hip hoppy song narrated by a monotonous robot. You should complete those snippets. I'd love to see them. I'll definitely keep an eye out for your poem and try my hand at doing that
A few of the snippets are... "This war, she's fought, hope, she's sought, time, she's bought..." Stupid little snippets that I should later expand like that one or "If she stands, shall she fall? If she fights, will she lose it all?" which may or may not have potential...
Expanding on both of these would be great. They've both got potential and I'd really like to get more context on both. The second one actually looks finished if you're going for vague though, honestly.
I don't really know how to expand.. they both refer to the "war" of bullying i've been fighting since third grade... that's kinda.... all I wish to say on it...
