Live map teleport

Discussion in 'Suggestion Box Archives' started by Talechaser, Jul 8, 2018.

  1. As it is, there is no way to visit the NE, NW, SE, SW, outposts in the wild on the live map unless someone is there. I would like to suggest either buttons for them and/or a coordinate search bar.

  2. You do /wild (N,E,S,W and NE, SE, SW, NW) that is how you get to the other forntier outposts. Or go through the nether portals there at the spawn outpost
  3. They're talking about the live map, not getting to the frontier in the game itself
  4. With current standings of the live map, it's not possible for this suggestion because 1: Empire Minecraft doesn't own the livemap plugin. 2: live map is a complete different application (Web browser to actual client) 3. The plugin isn't open sourced

  6. Those are cordernates and you are manually adding the tp command. It's not streamlined on the live map. Again not open source on the plugin either. Here is the plugin https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/dynmap.274/ Last point, -1 Not interested in a tp command which will be outclassed by the upcomming outpost update
  7. +1
    /map wildNW

Maybe? This would give a shortened links with the correct coordinates

  8. Yes it is, provided under the Apache license. See this GitHub project.

  11. This would help a bunch :D +1
  12. That would be so helpful! You could just teleport to your friend, so you don't have to go like 40k blocks to their outpost. :)
  13. This is just viewing the live map, not in game teleporting tho ;)

  14. Oh. It's still a very good idea.

  15. You could probably add buttons linking to the coordinates by changing the template the live map uses.

Whether this is a sensible thing to do is debatable, especially in terms of maintenance and update times.
