I can't access EMC from my ip for no reason!

1. No, I don't run a server
2. I don't share internet with anyone, I use a wireless USB card (always have and never had a problem)
3. I do not use a wireless encryption because I use a USB modem

Any help is greatly appreciated. This was sudden and unexpected

If so I suggest you go through the unban process on spamhaus. I don't know your IP so I can't look up to see what you are blocked for.

Yes, 3G. I checked on spamhaus.org and did not see my ip listed on their ban list. This is so weird... I have been playing on empire for a very long time without issues

That's why 3G is used by 100's of people at the same time, One of those probably uses it illegally. I would get Wifi from an internet provider.

I've been using it since Empire was started without a problem up to just a couple days ago. I am using a 3G card plugged into my computer and I am not sharing my connection with anyone else.

With 3g your always sharing it with someone else, It's considered a public network, The reason it only happened a couple of days ago is because it was only implemented a couple of days ago.

I suppose that means the end of my time here on the Empire then I live in the middle of "nowhere" Peru and the USB modem is my only access to the interwebs.

I am getting the same message regarding connecting to empire servers. Last night I was playing fine at a PC cafe here in south korea and I come home to connect and I get something about a ip address ban. I would really like to play on this server at home but looks like I will be limited to random PC cafes.

Justin ever answered to this? it seems like EMC has some kind of configuration that doesn't allow hackers (or flagged as hackers) to come into EMC. As you are not a hacker (i think so) this should't flag you but maybe someone on your IP is a hacker or has a computer with virus.

I'm having this same problem! I'm at my dad's this week so I'm on a different internet router. Could that be the problem? I just installed a new casino and I don't want to lose it!

It's better than here, in Israel,it's just you and your own computer. Public computers do not exist in Israel. Well, in some library's they are, but they have a list of web pages they can access. And that's it. (things like Wikipedia and Oxford,and .gov sites... Educational purpose only.
