So, I made this chicken farm that is heavily dependent on chickens burning in lava when they grow up, but, they just float up because animals don't burn in lava on my plot. How do I change this?

Try setting the animaldamage flag to true on your residence. /res set animaldamage t should allow all animals on your residence to take damage, but you can also specify certain animals.
