  4. My suggestion would be to get the best motherboard and CPU you can afford. You can always upgrade graphics cards later, but you will be limited by the motherboard you choose now.

Also try to get one with plenty of expansion slots. The bigger the better because you will be able to expand later one if desired.

  5. That case is a bit pricy.
Could you (or anyone) give some motherboard recommendations that would fit the i5 2500K?

  6. what is your price range?

  7. Around $600-700.
I would like to not go over $130 on the motherboard.

  10. big fans mean more airflow to keep it cool. but also they turn slower wich means it s quieter

  11. one other sudgestion. I would deffinatly go with a SSD for the system harddrive. its more expensive, but it is so much faster. you could then get a standard disk drive slaved for extra storage. I actually threw in some old disk drives I had laying around for the extra storage.

  12. Where are you getting the 2500K from?
That case only comes with one average sized fan, so I don't know where you are pulling that info from.
Each fan brand runs at different RPMs, so this is false too.

I have used this before in friends builds, it has worked out fine. No USB 3.0 on top, but that isn't a huge issue IMO. I has fit a ~10 inch AMD 7950 too.

  13. Woops I guess I was looking at the wrong case. I have the coolermaster HAF with 230mm fans in it. however that case has locations for more fans.

Bigger fans move the same amount of air at lower RPM's so yes they are quieter. Also you can get fan controllers to adjust the speed of the fans.

  14. If everything plays out right I'll be able to snipe one on Ebay for about $100 or more.

People with no clue in this forum, This is probably the best your going to get in that $700 budget

EDIT: The graphics card (Due to it being under very popular demand) is out of stock in my places, If you can find another Radeon R9-270x and it's in stock go for it, it doesn't have to be the exact one I linked.
  17. Josh knows his stuff better than anyone else here, so I would go with his suggestion. I built a build for a friend of mine using that AMD 6300, and he loves it. Although, I am more of a seagate person in the hard drive spectrum, and I have one of these:

    And 270x wise,

That one is well known to have good cooling, and I had a good experience with IceQs in the past.

    BF4 for free, why not?

Good cooling (had one before), and double the video ram. While 4GB of video ram isn't all too useful now, it could be helpful in the future with new games.
