Headless Horseman Mask Not Working

I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but after getting the promo Headless Horseman Mask (the modified jack-o-lantern) I went to Enderfarm to test if it really stopped Endermen from aggroing you without blocking your vision . . . and it didn't. They still got angry at me when I looked at them. Is it supposed to be this way, or is it a bug that needs to be fixed?

you have to put it on your head, however it will still block your vision.

Pumpkins have this characteristic, not the jack o lantern. I don't believe its possible to code a way to transfer this desired effect to the jack o lantern.

For pumpkin use, I don't believe its possible to remove out the obstruction completely, but some resource packs are able to make it transparent. You might want to search for those.

No, jack-o-lantern.

Only regular pumpkins when worn will allow you to look at an Enderman without it aggravating them. The promo masks/horseman-heads just dispense candy once every 24 hrs.
