I've been thinking about it, but realised all this war stuff doesn't appeal to me - if it was less about war & related I think I would participate.
Doesnt have to be man, you can literally do whatever. Besides, diplomacy and economy building is the best way to win in this game.
Don’t worry, we’ve calmed down with the whole war thing. (At least the Empire.) My nation, at least is exploring domestic affairs including politics. War isn't a top Imperial priority, mainly because they have bigger issues to deal with. They're overextended, and the conscription is not popular. The Empire and TUN are growling at each other, but that's mainly because of pride. War is suicide at this point in time because Nukes. Honestly, I kind of regret helping UFOS out at this point. The Empire could have obtained copper elsewhere, and worsening TUN-Imperial relations substantially was probably not worth it. Actually, you could at this point grow in power just by taking advantage of the Imperial-TUN rivalry. Pander to both sides. Negotiate. Become an economic Superpower, and no one can touch you.

((Since I was *technically* the inspiration for this, I might as well say why I am not involved. Simply stated, is I did not hear until it was too late, and I felt that I would have missed too much to be able to catch up and follow what was going on. The new liberal government has presented brand new plans for a better and safer nuclear reactor. The design would be much more efficient in producing energy, yet it will have many safety features and in total be safer, reliable, faster, and hopefully cheaper. All new power plants will also be located much farther from cities to reduce the damage if an accident were to occur. To prevent accidents, construction on each powerplant will NOT be rushed and will be built from the proper blueprints exactly. Workers and engineers working on the powerplant must not rush the construction of any nuclear reactor, they must do it safely, slowly, and be very mindful of what they are doing. Reckless behaviour could land anyone into prison for endangerment of the public and environment, as well as receiving a hefty fine. These designs have been presented to the committee in charge of producing and running nuclear power. Where does the waste go? Instead of saving it in or very close to nuclear facilities, the government is hoping to start a project to bury the waste deep, and permanently in the ground, most likely in barren areas where wildlife is minimal, to reduce the risk of hurting the environment by pollution. We will have to see the citizens reaction though...
A new government means new military equipment! Although the Liberal government is not so popular with huge military spending, they are not to keen on being weaklings in a world where being at the bottom is the worst spot you can be. So, TUN has started to produce the new ICBM rocket, the Minutemen. This new rocket is the first in the United North arsenal to be solid-fueled, unlike previous Atlas and Titan models. The new ICBM will obviously be much better than the previous Atlas and Titan models, as it can be launched quickly from a hardened silo, making it a cheap and accurate way to counter Empire ICBMs. The first launch of the Minutemen 1 will begin in 5 posts.

New planes? Yes! An ongoing project on the McDonnel Douglas F-4 Phantom II has been finished. The 1,473 mph and insane climb and ceiling on this aircraft make it the most successful design to date, as of 1962. Military officials say it could stay in the military for a very long time, and in fact be one of the best military designs ever. The new aircraft will be entered into the military and will be mass produced in 5 posts.. (now just gonna wait for warlord to make up some "alternate timeline" plane that's 100x better than this)
TUN is starting to spread their military forces all around the globe. They send 2,300 troops to Indonesia to company and train with UKNS military forces. They also bring patrol boats and send in aircraft to protect the UKNS territories. TUN also sends in 10,000 troops into Europe for training and to protect their allies. New alliances have sparked up, and Israel opens up more military agreements with TUN. TUN supplies them with modernized equipment and plenty of M60 tanks. Trade agreements within the mediterranean sea also open up. The new government sure is popular with other countries it seems, and that's good, considering the previous government stood back with their own problems, and never mingled in friendships.
TUN has started to plan and produce a brand new supercarrier, known as the CVN-65 Enterprise. This beast of a carrier is currently the longest aircraft carrier EVER built, and will be that way for a very long time, standing at 1,123 feet. The CVN-65 truly shows in innovation as being the FIRST ever supercarrier to nuclear powered. You can see the obbession with nuclear energy from TUN cant you? But do not worry, engineers in TUN military are TOP of the class. She holds the same amount of aircraft as the previous Independence which is 90 aircraft. This is truly a major succession in TUN naval engineering, and no doubt will the CVN-65 ever be stripped of her glory. She will be commisioned into the navy in 6 posts
the UFOS has finally gotten the research for a super-carrier class ship the FA-65 will be built in two years it is capable of holding 10 fighter jets and 15 bombers the name of the new ship since we only have enough funds to build one will be the U.S.S Voyager(very good star trek reference if anybody gets this)it shall be the newest ship in our navy now since this can hold so many jets we have started to build airplanes to go with this this is becoming very taxing on the UFOS economy. We have also started seeing riots about the new super-carrier ship the citizens are trying to say that we won't need it the UFOS's goverment is saying that this isn't for war it's for the keeping of peace the citizens have yet to calm down
They're expensive, for god's sake! The Empire's high-quality everythings come at a price. The price of being unable to defend the home front. This is going to come back. The E-2 is a match for those new jets. Not building new ones, yet. The Empire has no real plans for their new Supercarrier. However, Nuclear power sounds dangerous for a SHIP. In addition, reports are coming in of Rohiynga mistreatment and Genocide. GAD! Emergency Council of Human rights, NOW! (Hint, this is going to end in Imperial disaster!)
With a fast-growing population, new massive housing plans are being started. These new housing locations will be spread all around major population hotpots around TUN, mainly in the east. This expensive project will be finished in 20 posts. As drugs become a popular phenomenon all around the country, campaigns to spread anti-drug advertising in the youth has been started, and funding into the battle against drugs has been started. Our great nation will be built by the future of our youth, and we can not let these harmful substances destroy that future. So far, Heroin is the biggest enemy of the government and is swiftly being cracked down on. Marijuana though is a different story. It is the safest drug in public hands, yet one that is still a drug, and something that will not bring a great future. An all-out ban on marijuana is not being cited, but it is strictly illegal for people under the ages of 19 to smoke or use marijuana, unless for medical reasons and prescribed by doctors. Medical marijuana, on the other hand, is perfectly legal. Marijuana abuse is frowned upon and isn't suggested, but there is no major war on the drug. Taxes on Alcohol and Cigarettes has raised to 20%. New research has found that cigarettes do more harm than good, and campaigns to spread awareness has started on anti-cigarettes, as well as anti-drunk driving.
The GAD is an ethical organization. It'll likely only end up hindering UFOS. The GAD has given the all-clear to invade Myanmar in the grounds of Humanitarian crisis. The Empire can once again flex its power. The Empire has mobilized troops within the Chinese region, as well as move the Imperial fleet to Vietnam. They're cool, they're friends. The thing is, the Empire is wayyy over their heads. Remember, this ends in disaster.

With the land in Trumbull County, we start building some things in the center that appear to be government buildings. Also, in the southeast corner, what appears to be a military training area, and a military storage area in the northeast corner. A new capital, perhaps? We'll see. The Empire has mobilized its 2nd and 3rd fleets to Myanmar. Myanmar, surprisingly has recovered very well with the assistance of neighboring Thailand. Such a shame that the Rohingya people are mistreated. The Empire believes that Myanmar is a underdeveloped nation of savages. Boy, are they in for a suprise... The 2nd fleet has parked right outside and is preparing E-2-FB. The 3rd fleet has parked near Thailand to prevent Javorian interference. The Empire has announced they are invading with the full support of the GAD, and is invading to protect the Rohingya peoples. The Imperial Army is planning a mini-India type invasion. In addition, in the foot of the Himalayas Imperial Capital Construction begins. The Imperial presidential residence is being built at the foot of mount Gurla Mandhata, while Congress now creates its home further away. In the event of war, a bunker built within the mighty mountain itself will protect Congress and the new Commander-in-Chief.
