Community Team Updates Build Team The Build Team is busy with two separate projects planned to release separately later this year! Shh, secrets... Contribution Team The Contribution Team has made edits to the wiki to add further clarification to a few topics, including: Subzones (added a note about setting -admin on subzones to prevent people with +admin on the parent residence from accessing containers) Feature Signs (to note that the restrict sign should not be used) Dragon Tomb Updates (to clearly state that these updates will not be happening) Upcoming Features (added MrSocks75 to the developer list) Later this month, the team will be working on updates to show how to upload images from a site other than Imgur, as Imgur pictures can no longer be viewed in certain countries. Thank you for the update! Keep up the good work EMC needs it. As for the poll, who is choosing to stay in a hotel at the bottom of the ocean? You'll be looking through 10-ft windows just to see 20 ft past the window and see nothing. In the International Space Station, you can see as far as the human eye can see...
I chose the ocean hotel. It was a difficult decision that took time. But it came down to what happens if a window cracked. I would rather be crushed instantly before my brain can figure out how to say uh oh then to be slowly extruded through the hole into the vacuum of space.
My favorite EMC event is Firefloor because it's a unique challenge to try to dodge the growing holes or cling to shrinking floating islands, especially for longer than competitors. I also just like the unique vibe of sand, red sand, gravel or concrete powder supported by leaves that burn randomly. Good point! Both terrify me though, and now that I think of it, neither would be likely to be a painful death unless the leak was VERY slow. I'm just terrified of even knowing in advance without truly having enough time to reckon with and accept my fate. I'd only go to space if I had a very, VERY secure way to get to the temperate clouds of Venus where the biggest threats would be acidity, asphyxiation and contamination by potential unknown microorganisms; I wouldn't technically need a spacesuit to pressurize me like I would in Mars's or Io's thin atmospheres or Mercury's, the Moon's, Ceres's or most Galilean moons' total lack of an atmosphere, eliminating the threat of gradual "altitude" sickness from a micrometeorite (although I could still fall into Venus's crushing, scorching atmosphere if my balloon pops and isn't fixed quickly enough). With that in mind, voting for ocean. I'd feel more comfortable being on Venus than I would anywhere else off of Earth, at least among known objects within the Solar System. (For all we know, the undiscovered Planet Nine could have an undiscovered tidal-heated paradise moon with Earth-like atmospheric pressure; it's unlikely but not impossible.)

I love the Miner Mania events, those have long been my favorite. I don't mind the whole crew partaking in the defeat of the Bosses that way... gives me a little practice with my nemesis! I see what others are doing and what works in different areas - can't always get them into water. Thanks for the work on the wiki Moople! we appreciate that a lot!
Miner Mania is my favorite! I enjoy hanging out with and mining with other players a lot and fighting enraged mobs/bosses with everyone to spice things up.
