Silk touch shears can pick up ice, grass, cobwebs, etc.

First off, my life is already stressful enough and bills to pay won't make it worse. Second, how do you know I'm not already an adult?

Now it makes sense.

Before 1.9, shears wouldn't lose durability from mining blocks they're not intended for. Thus, you could use shears with Silk Touch to retrieve glass and ice, without using durability.

But now that there's the Mending enchantment, I say it's a fair compromise.

And shears can no longer be given Silk Touch. Non-enchanted shears can harvest cobweb blocks.

I'm sure your life is stressful. As far as how we can tell you're not an adult. We can just tell.
