you should add ores or make blocks interchangable with ores. i.e. 54 stacks emerald blocks and 54 stacks emerald ore , or interchangable so 31 stacks emerald blocks 23 stacks emerald ore. something like that

"Stone" is listed in the items allowed i see, but I do not see it mentioning Stone Brick. Does stone count for Stone Brick as well?

yes. if an item is not listed (like pistons) it means you have to count the materials used to make em. so a piston is 3 wood 4 cobble and 1 iron ingot (redstone dust is free) you would take 3 stone 3 planks and 1/9 of an iron block out of your total
