A thread disappeared from public view. This one is about the (approved) AutoNom client mod. -> http://empireminecraft.com/threads/mod-request-autonom-approved.22961/ Currently, it's not accessible to me. I think disappearing of threads is not good. I think that it is better to make any possibly needed corrections by adding postings and commenting. If it is really necessary to remove a thread, it would be good to leave a notice of the removal, like "this thread (or posting) was removed because ..." What do you think?
Threads aren't usually deleted, just locked. I've only seen a few threads actually disappear and it's usually because of something the person who posted/made it did on it to get banned from EMC. Was there a specific thing that occurred on that thread? Is the mod no longer acceptable?
Most of the time a thread is removed if it's a person spamming, breaking the rules, it causes a lot of controversy etc. Don't know what exactly happened to that thread but there was a valid reason for removing it. I'm fine with threads disappearing, most forums actually clear out old threads anyway. Edit: If you look here, it's acceptable and has the link. I think Chicken is cleaning up the mods forum cause it looks like crap. http://empireminecraft.com/threads/approved-minecraft-mods-for-emc.23205/
