Executive Order 6102, signed on April 5, 1933, forbade the "hoarding of gold coin, gold bullion, and gold certificates within the continental United States." The huge amounts of gold confiscated during this time period found their way to the vaults of Fort Knox.

It's about time that something like this was repeated. Thus, I have been steadily confiscating large amounts of copper the past few months. To be clear: it is illegal to store/keep copper of your own. All of it must be sold to me.

However, given that I am a benevolent government entity, I have decided to allow the public the chance to recover some of this valuable bullion for a limited time. This has nothing to do with assorted debts, and everything to do with generosity. What better way to show your patriotism than by purchasing Copper Bonds?
