Well, it is here. The Book Exchange. /utopia /v +be At the book exchange we have all of the high level books you are looking for. And you can buy and sell. Trying to find out what a "fair" price is? Come check the Book Exchange. If the price gets too high, people sell books. That lowers the prices. If the price gets too low, people buy books. That raises prices. The Players set the Prices. Two players have made over 100k each by selling books to the exchange. Don't know how to make books? You can make your own Emeralds at /utopia /v +eetrade You can buy and sell Emeralds at the Emerald Exchange /utopia /v +ee And I trade emeralds for enchanted books at Kloned Inc /utopia /v 5775 Kloned has best trades for most all books. Then once you have enchanted books, sell them at the exchange. Come! Make all the rupees you like.
Interesting experiment. Still, I'm also a bit of a critic sometimes and I think there could be one small caveat here. Players, generally speaking, buy books because they need them. If they come over to your shop and end up seeing books which are much cheaper elsewhere then I think you'll have a hard time winning those back again. Because why bother looking around if you know a shop which sells books for a cheap (or decent) price and which is always well stocked? That is of course not saying that this can't work, yet question though is still: work for how many players? Anyway, I'm definitely going to check this out sometime and see for myself.
