  2. Quite effective, can provide a constant stream of mobs for killing, so don't need to afk to cause mobs to spawn.

  7. The spawner is CONTROLLED. All the mobs are right in front of you, and they can't hurt you. In other words, no creepers/zombies/spiders/skeles sneaking up on you while you're happily going on a 'killing rampage.'
