As we all know, the servers are all filling up, and some are already full. You might want to have that server as your home for the community, or want a res because of it's biome, but unfortunatley there are no available reses, right? Wrong, with /v derelict you could visit a res that is in derelict status and claim your dream res! Tell me what you think in the poll above and below!
The full servers are purging derelict nightly, so can simply wait a day. It's intentional that derelicts are not easy to find. We want to encourage claiming an empty plot before someone elses plot.
