The Sacrifice Game

Some of you may remember when Quartzic hosted this game at the beginning of last year, but for those of you who don't or weren't around back then, here's how the game works:

There are 10 prizes, and for each prize you can either choose to enter the drawing or

forfeit your chance to win. Each prize will only be given away if a certain number of peopleforfeit their chance to win it - so some must sacrifice for others to win. Additionally, some drawings can only be entered if you forfeited your chance to win other prizes.

I know this is really confusing, so here's an example. The momentus toothpick requires 3 individual sacrifices and 15 collective sacrifices. This means that in order for the toothpick to be given away at all, 15 people must sacrifice their chance to win it. Additionally, in order to be able to enter the drawing for the toothpick, you must forfeit your chance to win at least three of the other prizes.

Only one entry per person. You cannot use alts or submit more than one form. If you are caught breaking these rules, your entry will be voided and you will be disqualified.

The game ends on Friday, July 19 at 8 pm EMC time.

Edit: Ah, you linked to the threads, right. Thanks. Turns out I did participate in the first game. Oops, my response to the question about that in this form is incorrect, then.

Just a quick note: If you say that you want to be entered for a certain prize but you haven't made enough sacrifices to qualify, it will be treated as if you sacrificed your entry.

Well of course, but I think you should get 'the worst of two worlds' so to speak, in that case. It seems strange to me someone made a sacrifice while actually they said they would like to have it for themselves.
