    By applying for the contribution team, it does not mean a 'free ticket' to join. They review your application and see if they think you will be a good candidate. Be patient. :)

    Plus, harassing and bugging staff is a pretty good way to get the application thrown in the garbage can.

    Be patient and wait. It could be some time before you hear from them. Days, weeks, months, maybe a year or two. Just wait for them to contact you.
