The Leprechaun is a great idea especially where we have to go out and find it. This mob made me think of holiday mobs from the past. Did we ever have an angry rabbit chucking exploding carrots for Easter? Mar 18, 2024

I'm doing my bit to beautify the Earth by planting new trees in my yard.

After reading a thread I have a goal in mind, start depleting resources in the waste. I'm a great resource collector. My 1000+ DC storage area is a monument to that.

This part of Spring is my favorite. Plenty of rain so the lawn is wicked green and all the trees are various shades of green as they start to leaf out.

I woke up last night at 2 am because of the strangest thunder I've ever heard. It was rolling for about 2 minutes, I thought the world was coming to an end.

I'm thinking of the nerves of steel the person controlling the Mars helicopter must have. I've flown drones and 9 times out of 10 it landed upside down. It isn't easy to get to Mars to stand the drone back up.

Here's a good question for the worldwide community. Are ticks just a North American insect? I get at least 10 crawling on me every day and they seem to be getting more numerous each year.

Ewww, 10 a day?!?! I'd freak out. I've never gotten a tick, even when living in NJ or when camping outside. I did thorough checks everyday but never found one. I'm so glad.

I just found another one. :( I do freak out, they are worse than mosquitoes because they are silent and just crawl around. 607, you are very lucky to not have any. I spend most of my time outside and I have been clearing brush to reduce the little rodents that like to eat my garden plants so that is why I get so many.

TopG just had me select the space shuttle as being an airplane. I'm fairly certain it was not an airplane.

No, what I mean is your vote won't be credited if you don't select all images of fire hydrants even if one of the images is really a mailbox or the Space Shuttle.

Front tire on my tractor suffered a side wall rupture. Never imagined a tire could make a loud bang like that. Need to change it asap because my potato order arrived and the weather is amazing!

I can't stand it when a voting site uses a captcha that is wrong. Today I was asked to select the parking meters. There were only two of them and a mailbox. I couldn't submit my vote until I selected the mailbox, it just feels wrong. :(

Yes this happens too often! A lot of times you just have to guess at what you’re supposed to select because doing what it asks turns out to be false.

Currently working my way through a "Giant" Hershey's chocolate with almonds bar. Just noticed a serving size is 3 blocks. I wonder if they mean rows....

I haven't worked for someone else for over 10 years yet today I received an unemployment benefits payment from a state I never even stepped foot in!? I am really looking forward to that time when the world doesn't revolve around the all mighty dollar.

Look up that state's unemployment system and file a fraud complaint. Otherwise you risk being on the hook for repayment if/when the state figures out you're not eligible and comes asking for restitution.

Spring is in the air so I have kind of lost focus in EMC. I'm tempted to plow the snow from the fields so I can see the soil.

I am in food heaven right now. Had to go into Boston today and got take out in Chinatown. It's been over a year. I feel like rolling up and taking nap now and that was just from the Wonton soup. Still have chicken and fish dishes...they'll have to wait.

This I can get behind! I have so much red oak to cut here right now and boi it’s tough on my saw! Wish I was cutting pine. I’d prefer pine any day.

I even bought a more aggresive chain for the saw and it is still slow going. Red Oak is sure worth the effort though, burns real hot. I have a fire going now. 🙂

I'm a farmer in real life. I used to be the Sr. Diagnostic Software Engineer for an image processing company.

I took the picture below in 2020. People enjoy sunflowers so I grow as many as possible each year.

That's the upper part of my field and my house in the background.
