That is a great one. I watched it shortly after it came out in the theaters (I barely remembered it), then I saw it again like a year ago and loved it.
Right? I watched it before as a kid, but it's so much better when you can actually follow what's going on instead of just laughing at WALL-E's cuteness. :P Although when I watched it before, I could follow the story mostly, but I missed _a lot_ of the things communicated.

I've noticed that as well. At school, I watched a French movie, which was great. When my sister had to watch it four years later, we watched it at home with the family, and I could see and understand so much more.
I also recently watched a movie that I really liked, and then wanted to watch a small part of it not too long later. I ended up watching most of the movie again. :P During that, I found that I saw and understood much more than I did the first time, which is nice, but it's unfortunate that I (and probably many others) miss that information the first time they watch the movie.
It's nice to rewatch or reread a detective, and figure out all the hints that were dropped.
My favourite instance of this ever is actually the play my study association did last year, which had both a detective story and a huge plot twist; for both of which many hints were dropped throughout the rest of the play. I didn't play in it myself, but I did see it all four times. :D
