My student's association's prom was amazing! :D The venue was nice, the food was good, I was surrounded by great people, and my date was wonderful. ^.^ She very much enjoyed it too! Mar 3, 2024

Why do some people on EMC that seem fairly mature neglect using capitalisation and punctuation? I hope they aren't all depressed... :(

I try to keep at it, but the subject wasn’t ever my best. Truly, as CD pointed out, if the point is understood, that is what matters most. Not how formal it is written.

Yes, but in this case it doesn't. I am left to guess whether 'the point' includes the person in question being depressed or not. In some cases it's obvious they are, in others it's obvious they are not, but in most it's left ambiguous to me.

I type in all lowercase in-game, but I'll still use commas and other punctuation when necessary...

YouTube is going to remove the community contributions to closed captions. They probably aren't going to change plan, because it's YouTube, but please do sign this petition if you think this would be a bad choice. http://chng.it/94MTZjS7BC

Watched WALL-E with the study association today. :) It was an online event. I ended up organising a big part of it, because we only realised two days ago that we had a film scheduled for this evening, and I had the most time and the most technical knowledge. :P Amazing film!

And I assume many, if not most movies will be like this, so perhaps rewatching isn't even that weird. :P

It's nice to rewatch or reread a detective, and figure out all the hints that were dropped.
My favourite instance of this ever is actually the play my study association did last year, which had both a detective story and a huge plot twist; for both of which many hints were dropped throughout the rest of the play. I didn't play in it myself, but I did see it all four times. :D

Yeah, I agree! Even in that movie I watched recently, there were many hints and returning things, it was great!
        That's great! :D

Looking forward to the other Ice Age levels from you on the piano! ^^ The Lava Cave one is the on I look forward to the most, not only because it's interesting but because watching you play it may help me with my YM2612 version. :D

I'm not sure if I'll ever do that, though! There's a lot I'd like to play, and with on average half an hour of practice a day I do not master performances quickly. ;)

SGDQ2020 did not have a venue; because of COVID-19 everything was done through the internet. However, it was still a very enjoyable event! My highlights: Millennium Racer, VB Wario Land, M&L Paper Jam, Night Trap, Baba Is You, Sly Cooper and the Super Mario Bros. games.

In my room that tends to not really work, for some unknown reason. :P And when you are outside all day, like today, it having been colder doesn't particularly help. :P Where I was yesterday it also was 28+ degrees C, with burning sun. :P

As much as I have enjoyed the action and strategy Mario games are packed with, Super Mario Kart is sooo difficult! By no means, is that an easy feat. I have it on SNES cartridge, not pc. Those points on your video are so spot on!! Congrats on your victory!

Thanks for watching, and thanks for the congrats!
I was playing it on Switch Lite. I was intending to get an SNES for a while, but the Switch Lite seemed great for me (because I love handhelds), and it includes most of the classic NES and SNES games. :) At least all those made by Nintendo themselves.

The heatwave is ongoing. It's wearing me out, I've got to say. I'm grateful for the -2nd floor I have in my house, but sitting underground for most of my waking hours isn't pleasant either.

I dreamt that I found two more Piwis, and thought "Wow, I totally forgot I had these!". One of them had smaller eyes but was very similar otherwise, the other had a beak at least twice as long and one part of his body was white instead of yellow or blue.
