Whatever you do, DON'T watch the Verge's video on PC building. I would recommend checking out channels like JayzTwoCents, Bitwit, Linus Tech Tips, and Paul's Hardware
A lot has changed in the landscape of PC building recently, one thing to point out is that, with the slight exception of super high-end stuff, AMD is the superior CPU maker, and for GPUs, low-end is for AMD Radeon and high(er) end is for Nvidia's stuff
Another great resource for picking out parts is /r/BuildmeaPC, where you can give your specific needs and people will provide a parts list of their own interpretation of your guidelines
can actually be pretty fast when it's not used as a boot drive, and is less than half the price of a 1tb m.2 drive. The 2.5" SSD will be quite fast, and an m.2 drive isn't really going to make that much of a difference in terms of speed, unless if you're doing some sort of video editing or something that needs super fast storage. (2/2)
Ok, as I expected had a couple of issues, I feel the case is mid-tower is too small, perhaps too many fans so not sure I might change this. the other issue the motherboard didn't wok and the pc while it showed a flash of light for a moment died. I believe it has something to do with the bios so I have decided
to replace it with ASRock X570 Taichi AM4/M.2/DDR4/HDMI/ATX Motherboard, before I do though I am looking for opinions, it appears to compatible I just need to be sure
Hi, I gave it another go, but the info in the manual was incorrect, after much searching, I managed to find a video which and following that it worked, the system boot but did not post using HDMI, I think this will work but I need to plug into GPU, not MB. I will try this when feeling better.
