It's a setting. Hiding it for yourself makes little sense I'd say, so I think that's why you can still see it. I'm fairly certain that you aren't in the current visitors thing anymore.

On the contrary, you might just as well say _showing_ it for yourself makes little sense with exactly the same reasoning. I thought the reason that it was shown was so you see what others see in that regard; it turns out it isn't.
^ good point. Better point even because it (should?) resets to now when coming back, so you only see yourself when you've just reset the timer. :P
