When I moved from my birth town to my current home town (loving it here) I wanted 'change' and one of those changes was a new vacuum cleaner. I got myself a new Dyson DC20 stowaway cleaner, now 11 years ago. A few years later I decided I'd grab a hand vacuum (DC31) and they always just. worked. BUT....
(split rant b/c of possible limitations)... Today I got the V11. The cordless vacuum cleaner with motorized mouth pieces. What can I say other than what I mentioned above: IMO this is the best vacuum cleaner you can get. My other Dysons lasted well over 8 years (I still use the hand vacuum daily) and trust me when I say: they suck! :D
Yes, Electrolux is also very good... My mother has one, only for 15+ years and it still works! The only reason she went Dyson is because it's much easier on her (cordless) but Electrolux is also a really good brand.
