Yes to advent calendars, though I personally wouldn't consider them an American cultural thing. Mince pies are a sort-of as well. I don't know anyone who likes them :)

I’ve had advent calendars for as long as I can remember! Usually my Mum gets Sach and I personalised ones, but this year I have a Reese’s Peanut Buttercup one... which made me wonder as to whether you ‘Muricans have them :P Mince pies are a traditional must here! I love em <3

Yes I get my kids Advent Calendars at Aldi's but mince pies it would depend on the resturant. I have thought about making my own.

I’ve never had mince pies at a restaurant x_x We actually buy ours from Aldi! I personally prefer the salted caramel ones, but traditional has been argued to be the best :P

They sell out here at Aldi before I can get them.
