Theoretically, but seniors tend to take a bunch of easy classes, especially second semester when you already know which colleges have accepted you and there's no real incentive to try your hardest. In the US, for whatever reason, Junior year (year 3/4) tends to be by far the hardest year.
Thank you Rhy for explaining that. For me, I want to nudge my GPA up a couple points and my cte pathway (career path) had a few extension courses that look extremely good to colleges. Because I'm still choosing from one of 15 poking the tar outta me, i went ahead and decided to take those.
