Who says I didn't? :) But we'll see, right now I don't really see the point of it to be honest. The whole thing has never been abused, and the only times both accounts did like a single post were rare and special. If EMC (Krysyy IMO) doesn't like that then well... they got their wish now. It can't happen again. You know my opinion on this idiocy so yah :P
From my point of view some younger people lack the experience to look at the bigger picture. And that can only be fixed in time (or it doesn't happen at all if they also refuse to listen to suggestions on this, no further comments).
If you would have, you would have got it back (perhaps after saying you intend to not double-like posts anymore), and if you would've got it back, I probably would have noticed. ;)
I personally don't agree with the rule, and until I get addressed about it, I won't avoid situations where I like one post with both of my accounts (although for me it's very rare because I don't use OrangeDuck607 often).
But I feel like this isn't something to lose your ability to like posts to...
I guess that ability is much more important to me than to most. But as you used to like posts regularly, I am now suddenly missing a source of information, and that's hard to adapt to. ;)
Besides/Moreover, it's just fun to like posts, and it's fun to have a post of yours liked!
Well, the problem with me is that I can be a difficult player. I focus on intent and not the rules perse. When a player gets 2 likes I see a player who might feel special for a moment, more motivated to post again (and hopefully make a good effort!).
See: it's like the games server. You need players (= persuasion!) to get more players. Forums are like that. You need interactivity to appeal to create more. And we all know what happened to games. And no, I am not trying to rub it in. Games can be much better used, IF they try to think about the players first and foremost.
True story: Kryssy and me talked (again) and we are reaching a solution which we all can agree on. But right now they have bigger issues on their plate, but... something is happening it seems.
