I'm really unsure about everything. Sitting here wondering why did this have to happen to me. They say God doesn't give you more than you can handle. 1 Corinthians 10:13 but I want to propose we adopt a new text to be our go-to text for encouraging sufferers. Rather than using 1 Cor. 10, I submit we should use 2 Corinthians 12:7-10:
So to keep me from being too elated by the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from being too elated. Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Simple words to read, but very difficult to grasp the true meaning of what is really being said. Some times the Bible answers my question with another question leaving me wondering what is really being conveyed? btw I changed my email, if you were wondering why I never responded if you emailed me.
