   lol, its quite common, people just "expect" things to work 24/7, and are shocked when they stop working. Smartphones are a good example, because how many people actually backup their smartphone data? Yet they are shocked and upset when their phone breaks and they can't access any of their stuff. (Thankfully cloud solutions have begun to solve this problem, but even they could stop working one day and lose data.)
