  1. There are now shaders for 1.4.2!!!!! Grab your shaders from my video!!

    The downloads are in description.

Subscribe, like, and/or comment? it helps me a lot!
  2. Doesn't that turn your FPS to -90?
  3. My computer can handle those mods. 16 Gbs ram ftw.
  4. I'll be buying an 8GB when I get enough cash, not much left :p
  5. Thanks for the small amount of 18 views. It means a lot to me ;)

  6. just a little pointer - the amount of ram you have in your system doesn't help with this, cpu speed, ram bandwidth, and most of all video card capability is what determines your framerate with this sort of thing.

I guarantee you I would get the exact same FPS with 4GB as I get with 16GB in my system. I have the exact same sticks in multiple sizes, want me to do some benchmarks with 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB to prove it?

    EDIT
Nevermind, you linked a JAR. this thread will be locked soon, your video will be deleted, and so will the file due to violations of minecraft copyright.

  7. If you remove the link to the jar download i can leave the thread open, otherwise it will have to be removed sorry, as it is illegal to distribute any part of minecraft software, including jar files.

  8. i partitioned my memory (allocated) however you say it - and figured out how to atleast get 1gb of my ram onto minecraft alone - would that be enough? what is the minimum ram you need on your computer? (as of now i have 4gb since i'm swapping out my ram type again ...)
  9. well basically as long as you have enough RAM for your operating system and minecraft and whatever else you run, you're golden. With a lean OS install without a whole bunch of addon tray apps and such and hidden updaters and a basic minecraft setup you can get away (quite comfortably) with 2GB ram if you run nothing else but minecraft and windows and maybe a single browser window. 4GB is plenty of room to play in. I have 16GB so I don't keep my stuff thinned out, I run tons of stuff all the time, but my system right now is 'only' using 3GB of ram, and when I run MC it 'only' uses 4GB. I have a "fat" install with a bunch of stuff running that I want running, though. Keep in mind I am talking about windows 7 64 bit. Windows xp 32 bit can get away with a bit less, and windows vista requires quite a bit more for the same outcome.
  10. My processor is AMD Phenom II X4 965 (black edition) processor 3.4 ghz

rest isn't really necessary to tell (i have dual antenna sabrent 802.11n wirless pci for my internet and have dual dvd/cd rom players/burners one runs at 18x other runs at 24x and the rest like mouse, keyboard is wireless, and all the cables either i bought from ultra, came with my computer case (Cooler master: cosmos) or i had already at my house) if i missed anything either - just ask :) but this is my computers default specs before i assembled it :)
