Where have I been

  1. Howdy y'all! It's been...3 months or so since I last had an actual conversation with someone or actually participated in the EMC Community or server. The reason is actually quite odd to explain. Around August I had a daily routine: wake up, throw up, go about my day, sleep, repeat. This went on for several months until I finally had enough. Despite me making the appointment in September, the doctor wouldn't see me until December. So, after posting my Thanksgiving comic, I quit, because the pain or doing anything was unbearable up to that point. I refused to eat anything for fear of throwing it up, and I dropped 40 pounds as a result. When the doctor finally saw me, he requested a surgery for the next day. After I took the surgery, I was told that I had gastritis, and it was worse than usual due to it being untreated. I was given a strict list of foods that I couldn't eat, which include some of the planet's most delectable foods ;-;. Anyways, I'm now gluten free, lactose free, and I can't eat sugars of any kind. It's taken some time to get used to, and I'm still adjusting. Now that the problem's been taken care of, I'm ready to get back into EMC again, and I'm currently working on an event to celebrate my return. Im so glad to be back, and I can't wait to catch up with all of you! I hope to see you around soon!
  2. That's a terrible thing to go through :( I'm so glad that you've been treated now and are feeling better. It's good to see you around again :)

  3. I can relate Gaming, Was diagnosed with Chrones at 20, and have learned to self manage it, especially diet. It gets easier once you know which specific foods affect you. I can eat most anything now within reason (of course the weight issue is ongoing) I wish you all the best!

  6. I had not noticed that before you pointed it out! Thanks. :p

Anyway, I've read this before, but it's still terrible to read. :( It's also so strange to wait 2+ months for an appointment and then have to get surgery the next day and hear it's worse because you waited for so long...
    Stay strong!
  7. I cannot hit "like" on that post, because I don't like that it happened to you... unfortunately, I understand.
Hopefully you are feeling much, much, very much better now and I will see you around more!
<3 cheers to feeling better and the event you will come up with...
maybe another maze? ;) (hint hint)
