  1. Fair enough
Didn't quite finish the Integra Type R logo I was cutting. Got the cad done, but definitely didn't dial in the machine right (amperage too high, couldn't get the minor details out, also cut out the R and P entirely when at least the middle should stay, that was my bad)
But I'll show you anyway because I love showing people these

CAD - I also notice I goofed on the Y in "type"

    Plasma Cutting

    The Result...
I notice some Type R hondas have the "Type" slanted, some have it straight. I went slanted here.

    Compare to the real logo

Not as cool as the supra one I did, def needs a little work. Still like it tho
  2. Cleaned up the CAD file on that Integra Type R badge, put in little beams for the P and R to stay put. The N didn't pierce all the way so I had to finish it up with the handheld, but it came out pretty good. More to come hehe

  3. My current car fleet...

    1993 Fiat Panda Fizz

1988 Fiat Panda 4x4 Jurassic Park

    1987 Fiat Panda 4x4 Sisley

    1985 Fiat 126 FSM

    1989 Fiat Uno

My girlfriend has a 1992 Fiat Panda Mania, 2016 124 Spider and 1991 Volvo 480 Turbo so plenty to work on around the Fendy household!
  4. Wow. :p :o I laughed out loud from amazement!
Are these cars generally quite cheap, or do you (or did you ;)) have a lot of money? :p

  5. If this were a legit car, I'd buy it. Especially if it looked like the bottom two images. It's a modern Deloreon~
  6. There an affordable car here in the states if you can find them. I've seen them anywhere form $500 to $4000 for mid 1990's. 2018's are around $17,000. Not sure about across the pond prices, should be cheaper, I'd think.
    Great starter car!:D

  7. I've never had a lot of money! I've bought all of these cars "cheap", I've had several others that I've sold or parted also, and I've made money on the two I've sold and the few I've parted so the hobby has half funded itself!

These cars are gaining value now as well so a lot of them I could sell for more but I don't want to ;)

All the cars I own now are way under £5k worth in paid value and a couple of the cars there are worth that value itself over here now :D

The cheapest car brand new in the UK I believe is the Dacia Sandero and that costs £7k, so all these cars combined with the tax and insurance for a whole year are probably the same price all in ;)

Be very rare to get a Panda in the US I'd imagine - I know of a few imported, but you're right, compared to many classic cars they are dirt cheap!
  8. That's cool. :D

Is the Audi Quattro still the dream? ;)

  9. Current status with my 1998 5.9L Limited Jeep Grand Cherokee, if it was over in England it would of been called the Jeep Grand Cherokee LX. Lots of raw American fun, just installed a new bumper that I ripped off of another Jeep ZJ.

    Junked Jeep:

    My Jeep with junked bumper:

In other words, you can get parts for cheep if you are willing to buy a junk car. As long as you have space. Someone custom made this bumper and I got it for dirt cheep, happy camper!

    Sub for sub ;)
  10. Of course, it's still the dream! ;) Although prices are rocketing even higher!
    Of course :aikar:
  11. I recently got an envelope with some cool stamps. :D
  12. Two of my favourite cars strangely ;) Of course the quattro on the left is always my dream, but the Wartburg on the right is a car I would really love to own as well! Probably one of my favourite Iron Curtain vehicle behind the 126!

  13. My other ride isn't quite a car but based on my Panda that's based on the Jurassic Park Ford Explorer, it's a Sinclair C5! Produced around 1985, Sinclair made 10,000 or so of these trikes that were meant to revolutionize transport for the UK and beyond, however it was a commercial failure and only a fraction were ever sold. This one was found in my girlfriend's father's office, it was used for a few months as an advertisement for business and then disused. With a new custom battery it started working again, it has new inner tubes and a new chain tensioner and that was it, it was off! It was in a state so had to paint it obviously ;)

  14. Wow, that's amazing!! :D
Very cool to have. Sinclair must be quite the interesting person, having expected to revolutionise markets several times, but having only made one product that was successful enough to not have faded into obscurity by now. :p (the ZX Spectrum, of course)

  15. Sinclair did very well with his computers! His transport ideas did ruin him, and after the failure of the C5 he went on to create an electric bicycle - in fairness, something we do still utilize to this day, but not in the way that he had hoped and the cost of his particular one put that down as a failure too I would think! A bit too before his time!

  16. A couple of weeks back I sold my 1993 Fiat Panda CLX and a few weeks prior to that sold my 1996 Fiat Cinquecento Sporting, both great cars but as you can see from my collection I've got enough to work on... oh, and if I sell two then that means I can buy another, right?

I bought my first modern, a 2008 Fiat Panda 100HP, it's on airbag suspension and is the only Panda in the UK on this type of suspension and one of only two in the world - also the wheels are pretty bangin' so I couldn't say no!

  17. Bought another one, a bit of a project this one...

Went down and put some suspension on to get it trailer worthy and pull it to a new location! Work begins on a full resto soon!

    1989 or 90 (can't remember which) 4x4, my first non-Sisley :D
  18. Very cool! Have fun on it. :)
