    Introducing Old Fogey Frolics
    Our community is a fantastic melting pot; we have a lot of veterans who have been around for years mixed in with countless newbies just starting on EMC. These sporadic Old Fogey Frolic events will give oldies a chance to relive their early-EMC days and give the newbies a taste of EMC history as we host modern events with old-timey twists.

    Tonight's twist: you guessed it! TBA

    Note that these events are for fun and community bonding; some may have some prizes, others will not. Just come have a good time! I will, however, give out plenty of my heads as well as award a maximum of 1 GoldenHashhog alt head at some of events.


    Further Information on Today's Event (Old: 5/25/19)

    Part I (Death Event): We will have an old-school death event out in the Wastelands, all centered around a copy of the old Mob Arena. I'll be summoning hordes of mobs and bosses to kill you all as much as I can. It's been a while since I've tried to murder you guys, so please bear with me as I make adjustments to get the difficulty just right. That said, if all goes according to plan, you will die. Do not bring any items you are afraid to lose! A spawn building will be provided for your convenience.

    Part II (Mining Event): After an hour or so of dying, there will be a typical Miner Mania community mining event, hosted around the wreckage of your corpses. Feel free to bring what you like at that point--I won't be trying to kill you, so if you die, it's by your own causes. May or may not be a mini build competition depending on turnout; TBD.

    Keep an eye out tonight for guest appearances by former bloodra1n "Mob Arena Party Round" enemies... DJ Wither and his mob of Jellies!
