EMC Mob Spawn Distance

  1. I seem to remember something being mentioned about this some time ago, however I can't see anything in the wiki and so I was wondering if anyone knows.

Normally mobs spawn up to 128 blocks from the player but I seem to remember something that on EMC this was reduced to 64 blocks away, is that right or am I getting that completely wrong?
  2. Another important difference is mob density. On EMC mobs will not spawn closely to other mobs. i.e. Spawning is cancelled if there are "two monster with the cluster," with cluster defined as, "20 blocks X/Z and 16 Y". So if you make a dark room spawner you're likely to get only one pack at a time in it.

  3. Thanks LuckyGB - I found it... 64 blocks from player, so to improve spawning in mob farms an area of 64 by 64 needs to fixed to prevent mob spawning out side of the farm. [Thumbs up imoji] #emcneedmoreimogjies
