  1. What does this mean for the UNAFR though? What if they decide to back up greece?
  2. UNAFR and NPAT don't back up Greece.
HMKX leaves government rebuilding up to NPAT and UNAFR though.
  3. The UNAFR stands on Greece's side but does not agree with Free Greece. Everyone has the right to protest and to object, but taking a step to terrorism is not acceptable.

The UNAFR has no opinion on the Kurds.

The UNAFR thinks that Turkey kicking out all Greeks in Turkey is foolish and unjust.

NPAT urges Greece to get out of the war, the only ones they have backing them is the EC. The OEO can deal with Turkey kicking out innocent Greeks from Turkey later.
  4. HMKX has declared war on Greece, citing "State-Sponsored Terrorism programs", "Defense of its ally", "Maintenance of World Peace from a Rogue State", "Control of Greece's dangerous Megali Idea", and "For a state, frankly which should know better." The declaration signals exasperation, but the public feeling is desperation.
HMKX is fighting now for survival from Greece which is bent on taking its lifeline away from them (or so they percieve.).
HMKX has strengthened security on the Strait and ordered it to be defended to the Death. Turkish Naval Vessels are battling Greek ones. HMKXS Sejong the Great has been deployed with standardescort to attack Greek Vessels sailing for the strait. HMKX's finest Supercarrier with 125k tons of displacement fresh out of RCOH, it will perform well.
  5. The European Commonwealth and the FRNS have declared war on the HMKX, who, as the aggressor, must be dealt with according to EC rules.
  6. HMKX is not backing down.
    EC can invade.
HMKX will buy time until they can bring their full might to bear.
HMKX requests UFOS backup; just block their access to the Atlantic.
HMKX's ABM systems are on full alert and being expanded once more. EC missiles will be shot down with ease.
  7. The Suez Canal has been blockaded by FRNS ships, as has the strait of Gibraltar. The HMKX will not reach Greece through the Mediterranean. European Commonwealth soldiers assemble along the border, although they do not advance. They ask to resolve this diplomatically with the HMKX. No blood has to be shed.

The FRNS and the Commonwealth are, in private, ordering Greece to back down. They are fine with their current borders, and the expelled Greek citizens can have homes in Greece or wherever they want in the EC. They call the declaration of war a formality with very little in the way of practicality.

There is talk of the European Commonwealth assuming direct control of Greece if it does not back down. It looks like Greece is hell-bent on expanding their borders.
  8. HMKX has had it with the EC and their expansionism.
Turkey has had it with Greece.
Saudi Arabia, Iraq, much of HMKX's allies they've been offended by EC in the past or otherwise encountered problems with EC being a powerful bloc. HMKX is their leader and strongest among them yet they have done nothing for years on end. It's about time HMKX defended their interests, as a leader should.
You can only strain a nation's patience one too many times.
HMKX has given their vast navy one mission.
    SMASH. THE. BLOCKADE.
  9. The four million men, few thousand aircraft and tanks, assembled along the border begin their advance into Russia. This is the largest force ever assembled for a military invasion, surpassing even Nazi Germany's attempt at invading Russia. The advance will pause throughout page 115 and hopefully continue on page 116 if all goes well (simulating winter).

Ukraine erupts into civil war, divided between east and west, at these recent developments. The Commonwealth is allowed into the west and will bust through the east eventually.

The navy will continue the blockade for as long as possible. A repeat of the UNAFR's bombing run of the Suez Canal is expected.

    Conscription begins.
  10. HMKX's war plans have commenced.
    Russia is a fortress.
    The Su-25 prepares.
    HMKX has launched conscription.
HMKX is not stupid; the Summer months will prove ths stiffest attack. Therefore, HMKX has opted to pick up its entire secondary industrial base, population and farms and move it East while FRNS is paused. A Heruclean feat, but Stalin didn't have a primary, much larger base supporting him.
Scorched Earth tactics will be used.
HMKX has one goal: make their supply lines hell.
Mother nature and distance does half the work. HMKX does the other half. HMKX's infamous Katyushas and Artillery prepare to bomb the hell out of them. The Flying Apocalypse will decimate convoys. HMKX will hold out for as long as needed.
Meanwhile, the East gears into full war mode. HMKX is busy; it is building up an Army, Navy and Air Force to be unleashed all at once. To make sure a Nuclear Strike cannot destroy it all, it is spread out.
HMKX sends aid to East Ukraine. They cannot fall.
HMKX's Navy hacks away at the Suez Canal. Egypt waits for HMKX instruction. HMKX has sent HMKXS Chandragupta and HMKXS Sun Tzu with task forces to break the Suez Blockade, both gargantuan 115-119k weight class Supercarriers. A concerted effort will be made with Egypt.
  11. The first major Aerial battle of the war has commenced.
It was a close match, but FRNS won the day by gaining control over the invasion's staging area airspace. It should be of note that none of HMKX's E-5 fifth Generation fighters were used here.
But they'll be back with more. HMKX will be back with a lot more. The West is running on reserves, but the East is replenishing them faster than they can use it.
HMKX is moving into position to defend against FRNS attack. The fight will be one hell of one. HMKX anticipates being pushed backwards.
  12. The UNAFR and NPATAR are considering breaking the peace pact if things get uglier.

Oh, NPATAR's 7 million men army? Yep, it's coming, statistics and specs are coming out reeeal soon.
  13. HMKX reminds them that they promised not to dismantle the EC and that UNAFR will not lose out much. HMKX renews this promise.
HMKX has expanded its army to 10 million soldiers and a much larger vehicular and Air Force, a sign that it will defend itself to the death.
  14. NAVAL BATTLE: BATTLE OF THE GRECIAN SEAS
    OUTCOME: HMKX Victory.
We may have lost our first Skywards Battle, but the Seas seem to be in our favor.
HMKXS Yi Sun-Shin, proving that despite it being torpedoed and suffering mechanically, it is still a quite capable vessel.
    BATTLE:
The initial stages were as follows: HMKXS Yi Sun-Shin's Heavy Escort was sent to Greece to deal with some particularly troubling resistance that hampered Turkey considerably. Despite Greek attempts to fight off the overwhelming might including a Submarine that got dangerously close, the Supercarrier was able to handily fight off the resistance and sank 2 Greek Destroyers. It was here that the Supercarrier encountered a far more formidable opponent, HMS Prince of Wales. Despite the HMKX Supercarrier being far more powerful, outclassing its opponent by a good 57,000 tons and CATOBAR capability, it was aware of the resilience of most Supercarriers and decided to approach cautiously. Its FRNS counterpart seemed to be unaware of the Yi Sun-Shin's presence and sailed on to assist its Greek allies. As the faster HMKX ship's presence became known, the FRNS ship apparently attempted to flee to Greek cover. However, at this point the Heavy Escort had encircled its counterpart. A fierce battle ensued, in which the FRNS ship was rendered completely inoperable as a combat vessel and much of its escort destroyed. Its HMKX counterpart was lightly damaged, and a Destroyer was sunk. The FRNS ship and escort only fled because HMKX gave it mercy, a ironic callback to the Falklands war. It can be concluded that FRNS's obsolete Supercarriers are no match for even the oldest, most mechanically problematic of HMKX's Supercarriers. We do not doubt FRNS will seek to sink this ship, first of HMKX's Supercarriers and Pride of our Navy. If they do, let them come. It has joined Sejong the Great and other HMXK assets. Attack. HMKX will be ready. [CLASSIFIED LEVEL 5] HMKX has assembled its forced for a strike on Suez. Hammer and Anvil. 2 Supercarriers on on side, 2 on the other, Egypt crushing them inwards. [CLASSIFIED INFORMATION ENDS HERE]
  15. The only thing NPAT is funding the EC is a hell amount of ammo, rockets, food and medical supplies. Only a few Ticonderoga Cruisers and Destroyers sit in the Mediterranean sea, by Israel and only 3 by Greece. They are on high alert and will only fire when threatened. They sit near Thessaloniki. A small fleet of the Navy is entering the Mediterranean Sea, only to protect Israel, Algeria, UWE and to peacekeeping. They are not entering the war, I repeat they will only fire when fired upon.

The Roosevelt Supercarrier sits near Algeria
  16. The FRNS navy has left the Suez Canal.

It is under constant air raid, being reduced to rubble once again. This will force anyone who wants to come into the Mediterranean into Gibraltar, which is now heavily fortified with a blockade and is in its natural state as a literal fortress. The Yi Sun-Shin is locked inside. The FRNS plans to finish the old beast off with a nuclear missile. An FRNS nuclear sub will be sent to patrol the Mediterranean in 1 post.
  17. UFOS will not allow ANYONE into the atlantic without our permission
  18. A HMKX Antisubmarine Cruiser intercepted an FRNS Submarine in the Mediterranean. Through Good Luck and a bit of strategery, the Sub was sunk. It later turned out to be Nuclear, taking 16 Nuclear Missiles with it. HMKX's 2 Mediterranean Supercarriers have stayed in Bosporous ABM cover, and the Suez 2 under Saudi Arabian Nuclear Umbrella.
OOC: Alt, I'm giving you the chance to rethink this. It is generally agreed to never use Nuclear Weapons directly on each other, only indirectly. If you had done that, HMKX would have retaliated with thousands of missiles. It's an unspoken rule that the mutually suicidal Direct Nuclear War is not an option.
HMKX is fortifying the Suez Canal with AA defenses and Air Force defenses. The FRNS Air Force will be forced to take huge losses, but for now the Canal is rubble.
The EC invasion carves into HMKX. It is slow, HMKX makes them pay for each step. But it is working.
  19. The FRNS retaliates by escorting a submarine with a dozen or so boats to the Yi Sun-Shin. The boats sustain heavy losses and damage, but the submarine's mission is successful: it lands a direct torpedo hit on the already damaged supercarrier.

The EC, having enacted conscription, dispatches another million man strong division to the eastern front to help out with Eastern Ukraine. If Ukraine falls, all the goals for this year are achieved besides the bit where the dig-in happens in an area without much of a harsh winter.

Troops assemble on the Greek border. The EC has not declared war on Turkey yet, but it doesn't want to risk some middle eastern ally of the HMKX running through and distracting them in Thrace.
  20. Supercarriers are amazingly resilient.
Yi Sun-Shin would have run out of ammo before she sunk the FRNS Queen Elizabeth-Class Supercarrier.
Yi Sun-Shin is also tough. FRNS might be able to sink it if they get all of their Supercarriers together and attack it all at once.
    Might.
I mean, HMKX encountered the problem with Enterprise and had to gather 3 massively superior Supercarriers and consistently attacked it with torpedoes, barely sank it and ran out of ammo. It refused to go under the waves for a good 8 hours.
