HMKX signs the treaty. HMKX is plotting the creation of a new type of jet fighter, called the E-4V2 (Empire-4 Version 2). This fighter is for now a secret, and would be the bridge between the E-4 and the planned E-5 that will come from the projected computing power explosion. Effectively, the bridge between Gen4 and Gen5 Jet fighters. This fighter is not planned to be manufactured in large numbers, as it is a temporary stopgap and a propaganda jet meant to showcase HMKX's high tech before it is outpaced by the coming E-5. (As there are no current Russian Gen5 jet fighters, I am just making this up). UFOS will be notified and given some tech for this fighter a few months before it is released, so they can create their own Gen4-5 fighters. In order to facilitate the creation of this fighter, HMKX is developing new Computers at an increased pace. HMKX's E-4 are also being upgraded with improved Radar, Weapons and Computers to what are unofficially referred to as Gen4+ Aircraft. HMKX is kind of worried UFOS is coming into its own regarding Military Technology. However, HMKX is glad they are flexing their muscle as a Superpower and showing they are not to be pushed around. HMKX has recalled Volvograd to port and deployed Zheng He to Europe to keep an eye on things. Yi Sun-Shin has been deployed to various parts of the World as disaster relief. The latest FRNS budget has been announced. The Chancellor has revealed huge increases in welfare state and military spending, and taxes. The military has a ten year plan in which it will build at least two more supercarriers at a Nimitz class scale, as well as an unspecified amount of other ships. World Environment Organization Map Update Many countries were added, and I wrote a list for them, although the post was deleted due to the page refreshing. The New Abbyssian Empire left the Organization, due to complications during the war. The United North American Federal Republic is the leading combine in world environment improvements. The UNAFR has decreased their commissions by hefty percentages and has found new methods of stopping climate change, with over 65% of the country running under Clean Energy, a massive number for such a massive country. List of most environmentally friendly combines: 1. UNAFR 2. HMKX 3. FRNS 4. UFOS 5. USA The USA has seen a terrible streak in keeping their country clean. Old Javor states have seen the cleanest attributes, although, after the joining of the ARL, the USA has to deal with the rest of the unclean energy methods done by the other states. UFOS is improving, but they should have started much sooner, maybe a few decades sooner.

The HMKX Navy stays grounded in its own waters most of the time, but the 12th fleet strays into the wider Pacific often, sometimes giving out gifts to Hawaii as a sort of sick joke and reminding UNAFR that HMKX has strength, they just keep it in reserve. The 8th and 9th fleets often foray into the wider world as force projection, while the 7th fleet guards the Black Sea and often shows Romania and Pirates who's boss. The Turkish Navy often forays into the Mediterranean sea, but HMKX keeps off mostly. The Pacific is a playground for the Combines and their Navies, HMKX would probably rely on UFOS to do things in the Atlantic.
What do you mean the HMKX gives gifts to hawaii? If the HMKX has ships within UNAFR controlled waters that not are merchant, commerical etc, the UNAFR has the right to shoot them down.

Gen5? There is no such thing! Speaking of which... Introducing the E-4V2... sort of! In a routine HMKX Airshow, an unknown Airframe resembling the E-4 but with radically different capabilities flew around for about 2 minutes before being ordered to come down. HMKX has tried to cover it up, but some photos did leak. HMKX has after this deliberately photoshopped pictures in order to flood the Media with contradictory reports. HMKX is churning out pictures and videos, some evidence showing this new Aircraft to be outlandishly powerful, some reasonable and some not very different from the E-4. This is all to obfuscate foreign intelligence agencies and flood them with data. All images and evidence have large missing pieces, to confuse intelligence agencies further. HMKX has secretly notified UFOS about their project, and warned them to KEEP IT DOWN, and told UFOS to improve their Navy generally before making any more Supercarriers. HMKX has started to plan construction of 3 more Supercarriers, as they have improved their Navy significantly with new types of Cruisers and Destroyers. They will likely be in the 105-115k range, as size has proven less important than reactor performance in future upgrades. All secret of course for now. Effects of the Military's similarity of a corporation on HMKX (The HMKX Military has an entire department dedicated to how to best make a profit out of surplus sales and purpose-built export models, as well as merchandise, for-profit museums, TV shows, Movies, and documentaries. This department is disturbingly similar to a business. It helps that they have access to real explosives, weapons and vehicles. Documentaries are hugely popular, Merchandise is a steady-money spinner, TV Shows tend to be flops and the HMKX Military is considering closing it, and Movies are blockbusters that are plot-driven, but that's kind of needed as the budgets are huge. The downside is that the department dedicated to profits is a mixed bag, while they overall produce large profits they drain money from the coffers one year and explosively provide in the other. The Department and the rest of the Military conflict often, resulting in often large leadership disputes. Lots of people do not like their profit-minded mentality, and lots of people protest this. While overall this is a plus, it can be very bad if a high-budget movie flops.) The AK-47 is the most popular rifle for self-defense in the outer fringes of HMKX. Sold as military surplus that has its Automatic option disabled, some people Jury-Rig it anyway to function as such. This carries harsh penalties, but it happens anyway because the outer fringes are not easy to govern. The Makarov Pistol, once HMKX's standard infantry sidearm was phased out, leaving somewhere around 30-40 million lying around as surplus. HMKX sold it all, and is now the standard home defense sidearm (Firearms are not permitted in cities and large towns with effective Policing without a permit, which requires advanced knowledge of Gun Safety and knowledgeability on the 10 most common Firearms in the Empire, and strict requirements to gun safety are placed). This has resulted in the HMKXA effectively nationalizing the Arms Industry. They also sell tanks and artillery guns to private collectors, albeit with some work to prevent someone from going on a rampage with one. The HMKXAF has more than once sold old fighter jets to private collectors, and once to a company that gave one out as a raffle. This has resulted in some ugly accidents where the HMKXAF forgot to do work to neutralize the weapons. The HMKXN's biggest client is foreign entities, with the HMKXN selling to Navies worldwide. They also do scrapping. The HMKX Military itself acknowledges this, in their joke mottos which pop up in official statements every so often. They have a sick sense of humor, after all. How on earth is the HMKX not having financial problems, their military has millions of personnel, all of which need to be supplied and fed, the HMKX has a godly amount of artillery and nukes, and has tons of supercarriers, a huge navy and a huge airforce. The UNAFR chilled down TUN's military because it was causing money problems, the HMKX sees nothing.
The HMKX Army has underwent massive downsizing for precisely this reason. It went from 30 million to around 5 million, and most of the Artillery Pieces went into mothball. The HMKXAF has also underwent downsizing, to about half of what it once was. Much of the more expensive equipment is being maintained, but the cheaper things have all been sold. The HMKXN is the only branch that underwent expansion, and even they had to RCOH their Supercarriers to make it less expensive and a lot of their focus is on cost-effective ships. Even then, they can't field more than 3 at once without a war to justify a larger budget. Effectively, HMKX has rendered their military in a state where they could easily and quickly remobilize. Even after all this cost-cutting, the HMKX Military consumes a large amount of money from both taxpayers and their own enterprises, and several departments are underfunded. The fact they even do their own enterprises mean something is very wrong. In addition, the unreliability of the Cash flow means some years the military must cost-cut to the max, while in others every department is well funded. This leads to a considerable amount of chaos and reduces efficiency.

Brand new deals have struck with the United South (Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas) The UNAFR is now breaking out big deals with them, including oil/lumber/resource trade, and military aid. Being former UNAFR states, TUS is kind of like a puppet state in some ways, although not federally linked, the UNAFR holds a big influence on their government and military. They are basically a little brother to the UNAFR. TUS's influence has even stretched within Florida, as Florida, an NPAT member is very friendly towards them, to the point where they have become great partners within the south. TUS is apart of NPAT btw. Could this mean Florida joining TUS? After all, TUS isn't exactly a country, it is more so a combine, a bunch of states working together under one name and conjoined federal government, while still being very independent and owning many privileges. It's kind of like a pact in some way, and for this, Florida is interested in it... As for Wisconsin, they have experienced many hardships since leaving TUN, and thus have rejoined the UNAFR. In Africa, UNAFR allies are not doing so well... Kenya is experiencing the bloodshed from the recent war, and although no Kenyan soldier has stepped foot into war, Kenya's economy has dropped, with their main African trading partners in shambles. Kenya also has a refugee problem, even though the war was over a few years ago, it still shows in Africa, as civil infighting is still ongoing, although not to a full-on war scale. Nigeria took up to arms and annexed Chad. Nigeria was disappointed with TUN's leaving of Chad, and so Nigeria took the opportunity to sweep their already poor military and take them for themselves. Nigeria isn't the only one taking part in annexation, Cameroon took their past political tensions with Equilateral Guinea and seized their capital. It doesn't look like Cameroon will be able to hold them much longer though, as Cameroon isn't as strong as it was during the 70s when TUN had control over the area. NPAT has condemned their actions.
With new leaders in the ring, Jordan has agreed to end all tensions with Israel and settle it as neutral. No longer will fighting continue, it's a strive for peace. NPAT is in full celebration with this, as they have been working to settle disputes with Jordan for a long time now. (BTW, how are Israeli's supposed to get through Palestine to Jerusalem?
