I meant by the original thread creator. This thread is a bit old and the place is out of stock (according to posts).
So I want to know if this thread is *actually* still in use.

I have not been online as often as I used to. However, the Dirt Vault is still open, but just empty. I remember noticing a few other people emulating this. I'd recommend a quick forum search for dirt, if you are in need.
I believe I created the Vault way back in 2013, after the huge mass of dirt from the Biosphere Project (only one 'sphere remains from that - mine). It was fun putting those signs up.

This thread may be as old as the Dirt Vault itself, but both are still standing. You are always welcome to deposit dirt.

I also have a shop on my residence (Mushroom-themed), but the prices and supplies have not changed in months. For all I know, it may be empty.

I just did some Spring Autumn cleaning - the first floor of the Dirt Vault has been filled about 2/3 with more dirt. I'll be updating the original post soon to reflect updates to my residence.
