Well, that's good to know. I didn't suppose it was, though. I think it should be a 'bigger deal' than most make it out to be. Anyway, if I want more discussion of this I'll make my own thread, as this is not what the thread was intended for.
Thank you for ending it. I named it official thread because one did not exist to talk about clash of clans. I see no problem in this at all. The nature of this thread was intended exactly for people to talk about a game, Clash of Clans, in a peaceful way. That means jokes and sharing info, so I see no reason why anything was a problem in the first place. This is the official thread to go to to talk about Clash of Clans. Official thread.

I used to play Clash of Clans a long long while ago (5-6 years ago...), was good fun. Like I usually do, I played it quite a lot and improved in everything quite quickly. I believe I was around level 80 when I stopped playing (I don't remember why). When I downloaded it for my sister too, I got her to level 13 (I believe) in one morning + afternoon... Back then I still used my iPad a lot, but I don't anymore - it was an iPad 1, it probably can't even download Clash of Clans anymore, unfortunately - on phone everything is so small. Also, I really shouldn't find another thing to sink hours per day into (that's how it usually works for me...), so I guess I won't play again. Many good memories, though.
The reasons why I stopped playing are that I got to such a high level (80+ I believe?) that things weren't nearly as interesting as before (in my opinion then), and because I probably found other things to do that would take in all the time before spent on Clash of Clans. Also, with my class we had a clan that used to be very active, but by the time I became less active that was already quite deserted, unfortunately. I could definitely start again now, but I'd much prefer to do it on a bigger screen (which I don't have), and should really spend my time more wisely... Yes, the game was quite good! I don't think it a game you would like, but I liked it a lot. It's both simple and complex, and using your own tactics to improve is really nice.
I had to restart on my phone, then I decided I would get it on my tablet, and apparently I had already had it before so BAM now I am using both accounts!
