Our interests changed, EMC has gotten boring for me too. I can relate to that feeling of boredom to some extent. I still remember the days when earning rupees was fun, adrenaline flows through my veins when mining in the wilderness while gathering materials to sell or to use for building. Now its all gone.

One thing I don't understand. People are leaving and saying they will make their own servers... So what can you do there that is so much better then here? I mean, first with your own server you won't have community that big. Second, you will still mine, build, try to make money just like here. I mean, if you would get bored of Minecraft and take a break because of that, that i understand. But to take a break from emc, that's.. well i don't know, maybe I'll have to wait to get to the point where you are now, because i'm fairly new here.

P.S. Also I wouldn't mind some rupees

It's things like this that really keep me going. The work you have done for the wiki really is amazing and the design is just perfect. Secret, if you ever need a hand with EMCPro, feel free to ask me. It too is an amazing idea and I'd love to see it contine.

The empire minecraft servers are great, but not perfect. I'm not able to look for perfection here as I can't administrate it.
To list a few that I can do there that I can't here:
-0 griefing ( since it's a small server, and , as you pointed it out a small community, we could have anti griefing tools such as logblock and others)
-Free build (now i can build in a "wilderness" world freely without any restrictions, griefing or danger, my imagination it's not closed into a 60x60 box)
-No spammers/cheaters/hackers (We would only invite people we want, and since is a small server, moderation wouldn't be a problem)
-Our own rules (Since we all are "mature" enough, we will create our own rules, telling some kind of jokes or saying some words is just not fine on a server where you can find 11yo's)
-Unlimited residences, towns, houses... Unlimited EVERYTHING (let's face it, it's a bummer not being able to build your great projects when your not a diamond supporter or such)
-The plugins we want (Yes it's epic to troll with mobdisguise, why would only staff in certain momments would have that "perk"?)
- A place where we know that we are free to do whatever we want, obviously we won't allow people to hack, cheat, grief or spam, after that we can do whatever we feel like doing.
- No more negative people being a trouble around (If we don't like someone, and most of us agree, /ban is there for something, is not like we are going to let anyone mess with the fun we want to create)

Having a small community is not bad, or do you ALWAYS talk or interact with 35k members on minecraft? lets face it, we just talk with some closed friend group, all we want is to join that group together.

I'm still going to check forums here for updates and such, specially on this thread, at least for 1 more week.

the size of the community is one reason EMC isn't as good as it was, also its open worlds free from greifers and its private we all are making the same server with Eclipsys and Copherfeild and we will have tonnes more fun (and this is mostly because not flat free from griefers... and we ALL no each other.

Well, that's all fine what you said choperfield, but danger, limitations and rules are more fun = greater challenge.
And even if you're good friends with people you listed above, you can get bored fast. It's good to have friends, but good part of online games is also meeting new, cool people. And, no i don't talk to 30,000 people at once, but I meet someone new every day - some good, some bad, but i'm fine with that Also more people - more creations, more trading, shopping, selling etc. I don't know, for me, it would just look so empty on server, talking to the same people - your friends all the time with who you can talk every day. As much as I could facepalm myself at people talking some funny and messed up stuff on server, it's still a lot more fun then if I'm on server with only 5-8 people. It's a lot of difference.

But hey, that's all my opinion and I can understand if you prefer something else. It's just a shame that a lot of people who helped make this community great are now leaving us alone with greifers, cheaters etc. Haha, I'm kidding
