[closed] (re)Name Shell's server & get a chance to win something!

Hi gang!

Last post for the evening (I REALLY need some sleep).

Warning: massive disclaimers, please read.

A good server demands a good name. And all the servers under my personal control are named in a (in)direct relation to cartoons. Anime, cartoon series, etc, etc. And I take this seriously, even up to a point that at one time I actually turned this into an item for my intake meet. And I got it: as a new employee I actually got to name a new server and rename an existing one. Sounds pretty arrogant right? All is fair in love and employment. What sounds arrogant to you sounded passionate to others, the ones who ended up handing out my paycheck

Anyway... Once upon a time I had a LAN server called Macron and another server at my parents place called Breve. The Macron eventually died due to hardware issues and when I got a replacement I then renamed it into Omicron. Being unsatisfied with the name I eventually renamed that into Unicron which is the current state of affairs:

Rules
Come up with a server name based on this:

• It has to be related to animation. I don't care for indirect stuff, but it needs to be traceable to this aspect. Example: I once had a job and we had 3 main servers which eventually got renamed Caspar, Balthasar and Melchior, all based on my passion for NGE. One database project even got (briefly) known as the Magi project.

In case you wonder.. My Macron server was named after this perl from my childhood:

• Neon Genesis Evangelion (anime series) is banned from the contest. I have too much ties into this, it can't be used.
• I expect references. Don't just come up with a name, give me some background too.
• Zefiris has already been suggested.
  • (edit) So have: Goku, Sokka, Appa, Katara, Gohan, Vegeta, Choppy, Jayce, Sideswipe, Soundwave, Sawboss and Jem. No workie for me.

Only someone from one of my all time favorite Anime series.

• No guaranteed winner! Sorry, I cannot make promises. I will sort out some good prizes but.. no guarantees for now. (one of the reasons I posted here).
• Try to be creative!
• Short = simple = favored.

In case you wonder about 'breve': its somewhat the opposite of 'macron' within Latin. Macron was an established name to Breve was easy to follow up on.

Prizes?

This is the tricky part... To be filled out later. Trust me: it is going to be worth it but I need to sort a few things out first. Like getting some people back online

That stuff I grew up with... lol

I'm thinking of things to do with Alfred J Kwak, as it's the only animation we both know. I feel like character names might not be too suitable, though.

It was a tough decision and I really couldn't wrap my head around it. Until someone told me that one of the names which I didn't want to use would actually be a perfect name anyway because you can also shorten it. And so, we have a new name:

(the kernel still mentions Unicron, that's because that name got embedded ('compiled in'). As soon as the kernel gets recompiled & reinstalled then this will also eventually change).
