So yeah... Aya & me also peeked in, we build a small cave like shack, had fun and then ran off again. We didn't care so much about the competition stuff (also see the sign in front of Aya's build) but wanted to see what it was all about. Kinda funny because we never saw the stream so also had no clue what was going on! But.. a bit serious here. I want so say how impressed I once again became with the EMC community. It's so much fun to see how many like-minded players are walking around here. See... Aya & me soon had a small place of our own, so I said ok, you stay here I'll look around a bit. Was easier because Aya had a silk pick on her so she could dig up the stone, make them into bricks, and then lay that down again. In the mean time I had chopped some trees down, replanted some saplings and went back. Soon Aya & me had a wooden floor, some log wall ornaments, a chest & crafting table and wood to spare. So... I made some signs, Aya (or me, I don't remember) made a name sign and I set up a freebie chest in front of our small cave. Big sign above: "Free stuff". And I dumped all the excess wood and stone we had in there. As I expected, a few moments later, the chest was pretty much empty. Makes sense, right? Yah... well... In the mean time I had smelted some clay which I found somewhere nearby, we burned it into red glazed terracotta and we made a bit of a reddish entry path. I once again had left overs (in the mean time Aya was also smelting sand for glass) so I figured... Let's dump that in the freebie chest as well. Guess what? Said freebie chest was now filled to the brim with all sorts of stuff. And not junk mind you! Good stuff, useful stuff. From doors, to coal ore (which Aya & me could really use), stone, wood, all sorts of building mats. Thats the EMC I came to love and respect so much. Might be very normal for you guys, but it was a really good eye opener for me Loving it! Thanks Jack for organizing this, it was a lot of fun!
