Hi, it's me again! Voting bonuses have been a thing for a while. Recently, new voting rewards have been released. Great! :D But it made me wonder something: when did I start my current streak? As in, when was the first time I voted since the last time my bonus was at 0? For the newer people among us, the first time they voted might also be when they started their current streak. But until 2015, your bonus could go back to 0, no matter at what you currently were. I first started voting on the day I joined the EMC Minecraft server: January 9th, 2013, 4 days after joining the EmpireMinecraft website. In May of 2013, I was one of the two winners for the original voting contest, held by JackBiggin. Shortly after that, I stopped voting, for a bit, as I didn't play on EMC anymore. In fact, it took me until June 18th until I realised I had won the voter's block. I started my current streak on August 9th of 2013, and I am now at a bonus of 1133. I had to do a lot of research to make this thread (I hope you didn't think I knew those dates from the poll by heart ). It was very interesting to write, as voting is really quite fascinating on EMC, and I enjoyed retracing my own story too! But I am hoping some of you will have other interesting stories to tell! Or else, at least answer the poll.
Started voting the first day I was here and haven't missed a day. Now at 1779! I don't remember hearing about voting slowing decreasing. I thought when I was around it would just reset. Could be wrong. The reason mine is so high is because it started with my first vote contest. It was then that I found out you could get 2 increases per day. I've been trying to do that ever since. Then I just wanted a high enough streak to obtain all the new voter items and well.. achieved 👍 Edit: First vote was Nov. 26, 2014.
I'm at 353.... During the summer and every darn weekend I forget to vote, so it's a very slow progressive roll.
I've never voted twice a day. At least, not myself. And I don't often see other people voting on my behalf. I added the months into the poll for a reason... So you can select the right option! When I looked through my history, I did indeed confirm the bonus steadily dropping instead of resetting right away, from May onward.
I miss the time when my vote bonus was higher than my total days playtime.... People would often ask me about that, to which I then replied that I started voting before playing. And some actually believed it too
Currently at 808 with 644 days as a member cuz. .. similar to shell... I started voting just a few months prior to learning about emc and mine craft...
980. Didn't vote every day since March 2015 when I started but hit it hard for awhile and ended up winning a redstone voter's block. Very cool.
Haha, that's cool! Does anyone remember (sorry, Shell, you won't ) when your streak would reset after 24 hours, instead of after 30 hours? I remember I had to do some really careful planning to make sure I could keep my streak going! And you had to make you sure you didn't vote on all sites at once. Because well, to keep your streak going, you needed to vote again within 24 hours, but back then, all websites had a minimum of 24 hours between votes. So if you'd vote on all websites within 5 minutes, the next day, you'd have to make your first vote within that same 5-minute timespan again!
Now that I'm logged in anyway... I joined in-game January 6th, 2014, one day after buying and registering my account. I started voting January 6th also. I didn't vote consistently right away, and as this was before May 2015, my bonus dropped to 0 a few times. I started my current streak at February 8th, and am currently at bonus 888.
Before I joined EMC my sister made me register to the server, then she voted for me and then logged into my account to take the voting bonus's when I joined back I saw all of these rupees transactions that she made but I didn't play so it was okay, but when I joined she gave me most of them back to me when I brought the question up to her Anyway, my bonus is:
Noticed that I never answered the actual question. Shame on me! I began playing on December 8th, 2014 and shortly after that started voting. And I simply never stopped Unfortunately I did suffer from a few small hiccups which set back my score by a few days and although I have tried to vote twice (something which kind of worked) I never really bothered. Maybe I'll try again but... we'll see. I also need to be a little careful because I'm voting for a few other players as well, and we already agreed that we'd try to share the 5th streak between us so that we all get a chance to get extra goodies Seriously... Even though I didn't really care(d) too much about the voting rewards anymore (I store my emerald & diamonds, and basically give all my vouchers away to Aya) I never stopped appreciating them. Voting on the Empire is in my opinion a lot more satisfying than it is on some other places (like on my server where you get absolutely nothing because it's also not listed anywhere ).
