  1. No, I will make you suffer.
Off course I will post the solutions, who do you think I am Simon?

  2. EDIT: I only noticed the invisible line when it got displayed in the quote xP

  3. Aah, thanks for mentioning that. ;)
  4. Those questions were pretty interesting.
Looking forward to seeing the results.
  5. Nice idea about the quiz.....but several questions are classic riddles that circulated the internet for a few years now :p
  6. If I win I'll probably end up giving the game to a friend, but thanks for the contest! Those riddles weren't too hard, but they did make me think. I immediately knew the first one ;)
  7. This game honestly looks great, but it's not worth $40
  8. I got the game in a monthly game bundle. Since I had bought the game the month previous from the same company, they offered me a $5 voucher instead of the game. I think the game is worth more than the $5 so I declined their offer and claimed the game.
So you could say the game cost me $5.

  9. I just sat there...for a solid 15 minutes being so incredibly confused on that last one, until my brother walked in, said "Are you that dumb?" And then it clicked, gotta love brain teasers
  10. Oh ok cool
  11. I'd never pass up an opportunity to answer questions in as snide a manner as possible.
I already own a copy of the Witness please don't pick me if I inexplicably got the most right I mean I even threw a couple of the questions.

  12. Blenders are better
  13. The questions were like shrimp and champagne in a fancy restaurant.
  14. Entered, I love puzzle games so this would be a fun addition to my Steam library. Thanks for the giveaway!

  18. That's what I thought for question 12! As I didn't want to win anyway, though, I didn't bother typing it out, as it was a bit longer to write than the other answers I did fill in. :p
  19. I noticed some people must have googled their answers (which wasn't against the rules) as they gave the correct answers to questions I grabbed from elsewhere but failed to notice I changed the values.

  20. Knew I failed the fruit question, some of the others make me feel dumb now. I dislike #10, but okay, clever if kind of obtuse.
    HOWEVER, I call BS on #12. :p
"Running a race" is a perfectly valid way to say you are in the race, so the lack of the word 'in' does not imply any kind of bystander status ('organizing' or otherwise). These kind of "gotcha" riddles just flat-out tick me off since they screw with your understanding of the English language way too much. Not your fault Davie, just saying I really really hate that particular brand of 'riddle.' It tries way too hard to outsmart you and ends up outsmarting itself.

For the record, my family bought the card-game Mind-Trap years back, and there were a few like that in the deck as well (including the "Friday is his horse" thing). Some of the riddles were so obtuse and badly constructed, I felt like writing an essay to the makers explaining why their so-called "answers" were wrong and pointing out the various leaps of logic or bad/broken assumptions one had to make in order to arrive at what they deemed the "correct" answer.
